Our Tasti story starts back in 1930’s New Zealand when two young friends with a passion for food started making and selling their delicious crystallised ginger. They started out with modest ambitions – they needed to create jobs for themselves during the Depression so they could feed their families. Before long they had built a following amongst on-to-it bakers so they started making Glace Cherries and Mixed peel and hunting down the finest fruit and the nuttiest nuts to keep their devoted customers happy.
Today we are still proudly New Zealand owned and based and still dedicated to making and tracking down the best baking bits. Our fans even inspired us to have a go in our own kitchen and since making New Zealand’s first Muesli Bar, the legendary Snak log, we’ve never looked back. We’re still passionate about coming up with new exciting ideas and we make the tastiest bars around in our state of the art muesli bar maker on the Te Atatu peninsula.
