The Splash and Dash Series is an ideal way to practice for your Ocean Swim & after the fact, a neat way to continue your ocean swimming summer.

The events take place 6.00pm, Wednesday evenings December – March, from Freyberg Beach, Oriental Bay.  They are simple and fun and designed over courses and distances that are achievable by the general population, though can involve some friendly competition if you want it!

The series has some new and exciting changes for  the 2013/14 Season, with the introduction of a 500, 700 & 1300m ‘Swim Only’ option each evening throughout the season.  There are of course still the traditional options to add a dash to your splash and follow up with a quick jog around the Wellington waterfront.  Please visit for dates and distances.   Wetsuits are allowed but not essential.
