Swimming to help prepare for the big day!

Bronwyn and Simon are getting married in late March and using the Sovereign Corsair Classic to help them get ready!

Our Ocean adventure began with a big New Year's Eve bash in 08/09.  After a few drinks, full of over-confidence and lager, Si and a few mates decided to enter the Ocean Swim as they were all now too old to seriously run and wanted to re-live their glory days from competitve rowing!  Three months later, Si and only one friend who hadn't chickened out completed the 2009 Sovereign Corsair Classic!  It must have caught on, as 10 months later, Si, myself and a few friends were lining up for the Sovereign Harbour Crossing in Auckland.  We are now both training for the 2010 Sovereign Corsair Classic to help lose the unwanted weight before our wedding in late March.  We've had some great training sessions and are really enjoying the weekend training sessions followed by a Latte at Corsair Bay!
