The Mount Sand to Surf will be my first Ocean swim, in fact I doubt I would have ever swam out of my depth before! It will be just 11 months since I had a disc removal and fusion of my lumbar spine, major surgery and rehab,

The Mount Sand to Surf will be my first Ocean swim, in fact I doubt I would have ever swam out of my depth before! It will be just 11 months since I had a disc removal and fusion of my lumbar spine, major surgery and rehab, but before the surgery I wouldn't have even been able to do 50 metres. I also have had a ongoing respect of the sea (meaning fear ) and have never really been confident, Ocean Swimming has changed that! A great feeling just training for something without quitting in pain! Onward from here.
