Cynthia has completed the full season of six swims a whopping eight times – what a hero! And if that wasn’t enough to make your jaw drop, she’s currently competing in her eleventh season! Crikey!

First event: 2004 Harbour Crossing (the very first one) She still remembers the T-shirt and carton of milk she won from Sun Latte for coming 3rd in her age group.
Favourite event: Capital Classic – for the wonderful vista surrounded by hills and mountains
Why we love her: She keeps on coming back, bringing more people from her club at Team Auckland Masters Swimming each year. Plus she’s actually got ‘golden goggles’!
