GLYDE EQUINOX 5.0 MEN'S WETSUIT

Premium Performance. Freedom to Move.

The GLYDE Equinox 5.0 Men's Wetsuit has been designed for swimmers who want flexibility, comfort and targeted buoyancy without paying flagship-level prices.

Built using Japanese neoprene with a smooth outer finish, the Equinox 5.0 combines carefully positioned panels with a fit designed to support natural swimming movement.

Flexible 1.5mm shoulders and arms allow freedom through your stroke, while 5mm buoyancy panels through the torso and upper legs provide support around the core and hips.

Whether you're training for your first ocean swim, preparing for a triathlon or building your distance in open water, the Equinox 5.0 is designed to help you find a comfortable, confident rhythm.

Equinox 5.0 Technology

Japanese Neoprene Construction

Japanese neoprene provides the foundation of the Equinox 5.0, with panel thicknesses selected to balance flexibility, comfort and buoyancy.

Thinner sections through the shoulders and arms support freedom of movement, while thicker panels through the torso and legs provide insulation and lift.

Each part of the suit has a purpose, creating a considered balance of upper-body flexibility and lower-body support.

Smooth Outer Finish

A smooth outer finish creates a sleek surface designed for movement through the water, complementing the suit's close fit and contoured panel construction.

Careful handling remains essential. The outer surface can be damaged by fingernails, sharp objects or forceful pulling. Use small, gentle adjustments when fitting and removing your wetsuit.

FREEARMS™ 1.5mm

Flexible 1.5mm shoulder and arm panels are designed to allow natural movement throughout every phase of your swimming stroke.

The thinner construction helps minimise resistance from the suit as you rotate your shoulders and reach forward, supporting a comfortable upper-body feel during training and longer swims.

FlexCore™ Chest Panel

A flexible chest construction designed to accommodate chest expansion and natural breathing.

FlexCore™ works with the flexible shoulder and arm panels to provide a comfortable fit through the upper body.

A correctly fitted suit should allow you to breathe fully and comfortably from the first wear.

HydroLift™ 5.0 Buoyancy System

Strategically positioned 5mm neoprene panels through the torso and upper legs provide buoyancy around the core, hips and thighs.

For swimmers whose hips and legs tend to drop, this support is designed to encourage a more streamlined swimming position.

The effect on body position will vary with your natural buoyancy, technique and wetsuit fit.

FlowAlign™ Side Panels

Contoured side panels follow the shape of the body and work with the suit's overall buoyancy layout.

FlowAlign™ is designed to provide a close, comfortable fit through the sides of the torso while accommodating natural movement and body rotation during your stroke.

HydroBalance™ Lower Leg System

5mm neoprene through the lower legs extends the suit's buoyancy support towards the feet.

HydroBalance™ works with the torso and upper-leg panels to help support lower-body alignment while allowing movement through your kick.

QuickRelease™ Transition Legs

Fast-exit ankle panels are designed to make the wetsuit easier to remove after your swim.

QuickRelease™ supports a smoother change from swimming to your next activity, whether you're heading into a triathlon transition or getting changed after training.

ComfortSeal™ Low Neck

A low-profile neckline designed to sit comfortably around the neck and help limit water entry without excessive pressure around the throat.

The collar's shape is intended to help reduce rubbing. Correct fit and positioning remain important for comfort, particularly during longer swims.

Size Guide

GLYDE wetsuits are designed for a performance fit: snug on land, with enough room to breathe comfortably and move naturally.

Neoprene may soften and settle with use, but your wetsuit should fit correctly from the start. Do not rely on stretching to make an excessively tight suit comfortable.

Fit & Care Notes

  • Tall options, including SMT and MT, accommodate swimmers with longer legs or torsos. Use both height and weight when comparing sizes.

  • Choose your size according to your measurements and fit, rather than automatically sizing down for racing.

  • A correctly fitted suit should feel snug, without loose neoprene or large gaps where water can collect.

  • The shoulders and arms should allow comfortable movement, and the chest should allow you to breathe fully.

  • Work the wetsuit gradually up from the ankles, positioning each section before moving higher. Make sure the crotch is seated correctly before adjusting the torso and shoulders.

  • Use small, gentle adjustments with the pads of your fingers. Avoid pulling forcefully on a single area.

  • Keep fingernails, jewellery and sharp objects away from the smooth outer surface.

  • Fitting gloves can help with handling, but they do not guarantee protection from damage.

  • Pain, numbness or excessive pressure are signs that the fit or positioning needs attention.

  • If you are between sizes, prefer less compression or need an easier suit to put on, contact us for fitting advice.

  • Not sure which size? Contact us—we've fitted thousands of swimmers and are happy to help.

  • Rinse in fresh water after every use.

  • Dry inside out first, then turn the suit to finish drying the outer surface.

  • Always dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight and heat.
