Designed specifically for the demands of SwimRun, the GLYDE Amphibian combines flexibility, practical storage and adjustable ventilation to support you across both swimming and running sections.

Designed in New Zealand and developed from experience in ocean swimming, endurance racing and SwimRun events, the Amphibian focuses on comfort and movement through repeated transitions between water and land.

Built using flexible neoprene, it brings together purposeful features at an accessible mid-range price.

A 2mm body and 2mm legs provide insulation and buoyancy while allowing movement on land. Flexible 1.5mm arms support natural shoulder rotation during swimming.

The front zip allows you to open the suit for ventilation during run sections and close it before returning to the water.

With a large rear storage pocket and two internal side pockets, the Amphibian also provides space to carry nutrition and essential race items.

Flexible Neoprene Construction

The Amphibian uses panel thicknesses selected for the combined demands of swimming and running.

Flexible neoprene allows the suit to move with you as you swim, climb out of the water and find your running stride.

2mm Body & Leg Panels

2mm neoprene through the body and legs provides insulation and buoyancy without the bulk of thicker panels.

This construction is designed to balance swimming support with the flexibility needed for running and repeated water entries and exits.

Flexible 1.5mm Arms

Thin, flexible 1.5mm arm panels accommodate natural movement throughout your swimming stroke.

The lighter construction helps minimise resistance from the suit as you reach forward and rotate your shoulders, while allowing comfortable arm movement during running sections.

Front Zip Ventilation

The front zip provides accessible ventilation during run sections, helping you adjust the suit as your effort and conditions change.

Open it when you need more airflow on land and close it securely before entering the water.

Large Rear Storage Pocket

A large rear pocket provides space for nutrition and selected race essentials.

Check your event's mandatory equipment list and test your packed setup before race day to ensure everything fits securely and remains comfortable while swimming and running.

Two Internal Side Pockets

Size Guide

The Amphibian should fit snugly while allowing you to breathe comfortably, rotate your shoulders and move naturally through your running stride.

Neoprene may soften and settle with use, but your wetsuit should fit correctly from the start. Do not rely on stretching to make an excessively tight suit comfortable.

Fit & Care Notes

• Choose your size according to your measurements and fit, rather than automatically sizing down for racing.

• A correctly fitted suit should feel snug, without large loose areas or gaps where water can collect.

• Check that you can breathe fully, rotate your shoulders and lift your knees comfortably.

• Work the wetsuit gradually up from the legs, positioning each section before adjusting the torso and shoulders.

• Use small, gentle adjustments with the pads of your fingers. Avoid pulling forcefully on a single area.

• Keep fingernails, jewellery and sharp objects away from the neoprene, particularly the thin arm panels.

• Fitting gloves can help with handling, but they do not guarantee protection from damage.

• Close the front zip before entering the water.

• Test your pocket contents during training to check comfort and security across both swimming and running.

• Pain, numbness or excessive pressure are signs that the fit or positioning needs attention.

• Empty all pockets and rinse the suit thoroughly in fresh water after every use.

• Dry inside out first, then turn the suit to finish drying the outer surface.

• Always dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight and heat.
