GLYDE ZENITH AIR 5.0 WOMEN'S WETSUIT

Premium Open Water Performance

Designed Specifically for Female Swimmers

The GLYDE Zenith AIR 5.0 Women's combines flexible construction, targeted buoyancy and female-specific shaping for swimmers who value comfort and performance in open water.

Built using Japanese neoprene with a smooth outer finish, the Zenith AIR 5.0 Women's pairs the AIRCORE™ buoyancy system with carefully selected panel thicknesses to support your swimming position while allowing natural movement.

Flexible 1.5mm arms, shoulders and chest, contoured 3mm side panels, and 4mm rear lower-leg panels each play a specific role in balancing freedom of movement and support.

Whether you're training for your first ocean swim, preparing for a triathlon or working towards a personal best, the Zenith AIR 5.0 Women's is designed to help you find a comfortable, confident rhythm.

Female-specific shaping through the chest, waist, hips and torso puts fit at the centre of the design.

Zenith AIR 5.0 Women's Technology

Japanese Neoprene Construction

Japanese neoprene provides the foundation of the Zenith AIR 5.0 Women's, with panel thicknesses selected to balance flexibility, comfort and buoyancy.

Thinner panels through the upper body accommodate swimming movement, while the buoyancy layout provides support through the torso, hips and legs.

Each section works with the overall fit to create a wetsuit designed around the demands of open-water swimming.

Smooth Outer Finish

A smooth outer finish creates a sleek surface designed for movement through the water, complementing the suit's close fit and contoured construction.

Careful handling remains essential. The outer surface can be damaged by fingernails, sharp objects or forceful pulling. Use small, gentle adjustments when fitting and removing your wetsuit.

FREEARMS™ 1.5mm

Flexible 1.5mm shoulder and arm panels are designed to allow natural movement throughout every phase of your swimming stroke.

The thinner construction helps minimise resistance from the suit as you reach forward, rotate and recover, supporting a comfortable upper-body feel during training and longer swims.

BreathFlex™ Chest Panel

A flexible 1.5mm chest expansion panel works with the women's chest shaping to accommodate natural breathing and movement.

BreathFlex™ combines with the flexible shoulders and arms to provide a comfortable upper-body fit without unnecessary bulk.

A correctly fitted suit should allow you to breathe fully and comfortably from the first wear.

AIRCORE™ Buoyancy System

Extending from the ribs to above the knees, AIRCORE™ places buoyancy through the torso, hips and upper legs to support your swimming position.

For swimmers whose hips and legs tend to drop, this support is designed to encourage a more streamlined body line.

The effect on alignment will vary with your natural buoyancy, swimming technique and wetsuit fit.

FlowAlign™ Side Panels

Contoured 3mm side panels follow the shape of the torso and work with the suit's overall buoyancy layout.

FlowAlign™ combines a close fit through the waist and sides with flexibility for natural body rotation throughout your stroke.

HydroBalance™ Women's Lower Leg System

The Zenith AIR 5.0 Women's features 4mm neoprene through the rear lower-leg panels.

This targeted thickness works with AIRCORE™ and the rest of the panel layout to balance lower-body support and freedom of movement.

Rather than using maximum thickness throughout, HydroBalance™ contributes to a considered buoyancy profile shaped around the women's design.

QuickRelease™ Transition Legs

Fast-exit ankle panels are designed to make the wetsuit easier to remove after your swim.

QuickRelease™ supports a smoother change from swimming to your next activity, whether you're heading into a triathlon transition or getting changed after training.

ComfortSeal™ Low Neck

An ultra-low-profile neckline designed to sit comfortably around the neck and help limit water entry without excessive pressure around the throat.

The collar's shape is intended to help reduce rubbing. Correct fit and positioning remain important for comfort, particularly during longer swims.

Female-Specific Fit

The Zenith AIR 5.0 Women's features shaping through the chest, waist, hips and torso, with panel placement designed to complement those contours.

The flexible chest and shoulder construction accommodates upper-body movement, while AIRCORE™ and the lower-leg panels provide targeted buoyancy.

Body shape, technique and natural buoyancy differ between swimmers. The aim is a suit that feels secure, allows comfortable breathing and supports your stroke without unnecessary restriction.

Size Guide

GLYDE wetsuits are designed for a performance fit: snug on land, with enough room to breathe comfortably and move naturally.

Neoprene may soften and settle with use, but your wetsuit should fit correctly from the start. Do not rely on stretching to make an excessively tight suit comfortable.

Size Weight (kg) Height (cm)
WXS 46–52 kg 137–154 cm

WMS 56–63 kg 154–170 cm
WM 60–66 kg 162–175 cm
WML 64–70 kg 169–176 cm
WMF 70–79 kg 158–173 cm

Fit & Care Notes

  • “F” fit options, including WMF and WLF, provide more room through the hips and torso.

  • Choose your size according to your measurements and fit, rather than automatically sizing down for racing.

  • A correctly fitted suit should feel snug, without loose neoprene or large gaps where water can collect.

  • The shoulders and arms should allow comfortable movement, and the chest should allow you to breathe fully.

  • Work the wetsuit gradually up from the ankles, positioning each section before moving higher. Make sure the crotch is seated correctly before adjusting the torso and shoulders.

  • Use small, gentle adjustments with the pads of your fingers. Avoid pulling forcefully on a single area.

  • Keep fingernails, jewellery and sharp objects away from the neoprene. Take particular care with the thin arm, shoulder and chest panels.

  • Fitting gloves can help with handling, but they do not guarantee protection from damage.

  • Pain, numbness or excessive pressure are signs that the fit or positioning needs attention.

  • If you are between sizes, prefer less compression or need an easier suit to put on, contact us for fitting advice.

  • Not sure which size? Contact us—we've fitted thousands of swimmers and are happy to help.

  • Rinse in fresh water after every use.

  • Dry inside out first, then turn the suit to finish drying the outer surface.

  • Always dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight and heat.

The GLYDE Philosophy

The Zenith AIR 5.0 Women's draws on experience in swimming, coaching and wetsuit fitting, with a focus on comfort, flexibility and body position.

For more than 15 years, Dan Feisst has worked directly with swimmers, triathletes and ocean athletes, fitting thousands of wetsuits and learning how different designs feel and perform in the water.

That practical experience informs the Zenith's female-specific shaping, flexible upper-body panels and targeted buoyancy layout. Every panel and thickness has a purpose.
